BonVie+ is a resorbable synthetic bone graft substitute intended to fill bony voids or gaps in the skeletal system, including the extremities and pelvis. These osseous defects are surgically created or the result of traumatic injury of the bone and are not intrinsic to the stability of the bony structure.
Once implanted, the granules (beads) gradually resorb over 3-12 months, allowing bone to grow into the space and fully replace the implant during the healing process.

Your path to predictable bone restoration
Synthetic bone grafts comprised of calcium sulfate resorb quickly, failing as a competent scaffold and often cause seromas/wound drainage. BonVie+ is made using a combination of calcium carbonate, hydroxyapatite, and biocompatible polymers, engineered for programmed resorption to provide a stable scaffold without complications.

- Advanced Composition: BonVie+ is made of well established and widely accepted osteoconductive calcium salts, bound together using a polymer matrix to form biodegradable porous granules.
- Programmed Resorption: The calcium salts resorb over time, and the polymer matrix resorbs safely and completely within 3 – 12 months, being gradually replaced by new bone.
- Active Bone Growth: When implanted against viable bone, the porous regions fill with host bone tissue.
- Complete Replacement: As the matrix resorbs, bone and soft tissue grow into the space previously occupied by the implant.
